The AZBBA’s official website (www.azbba.org) is one of the most effective tools for promoting our members businesses for sale. The association invests heavily to promote its website to business buyers and sellers which means increased traffic and responses to member listings. Since, listings placed on the association website are absolutely free to members, just this benefit alone can easily pay for a members annual dues.
The opportunity to network and promote listings to other members has been a hallmark of the association’s numerous programs since its inception. Frequent meetings, newsletters, social events , and conferences, encourage and promote communication between our members.
Members of the association are highly encouraged to co-broke listings with other members. Co-brokering (similar to in residential real estate where one broker may represent the buyer and another broker represents the seller) allows a business for sale listing to gain maximum exposure to more potential buyers thus increasing the opportunity for a seller to receive the highest possible price when selling their business.

One of the important and unique programs offered by AZBBA is the education courses it offers leading to the Certified Business Broker (CBB) Designation. The designation is awarded exclusively to regular members of the AZBBA who have met the education and experience requirements set forth by the AZBBA.

One of the most important benefits of membership in the AZBBA is its continuous and intensive focus on the promotion of education for its members. The Association believes that investing in the continuing education of our members, improves the overall stature of the business brokerage industry in Arizona as well as helping our members boost their overall ability to serve the best interests of our clients- the buyers and sellers of business in Arizona.
The Association accomplishes this goal in several ways, including:
Regularly Scheduled Meetings – Each chapter holds regularly scheduled meetings (once or twice a month on average) and a key focus of these meetings is continuing education. This includes, guest speakers, panel discussions and education classes.
AZBBA School of Real Estate & Business Brokerage – The AZBBA has chartered it own professional school, the only one of its kind in Arizona,devoted exclusively to business brokerage. The School’ s main goal isto develop courses that not only would meet the Brokers educational needbut would also qualify for Arizona Department of Real Estate ContinuingEducation Credit. This meansclasses taken through the school can be applied to a brokers requiredrenewal classes.
Annual Educational Conference – Each year, the Association sponsors aconference and trade show for the benefit of its members. This wellattended event includes three days of educational classes aimed atexpanding the knowledge of its members and providing you with tools to help increase revenues and profitability of your business.

The Association is comprised of three Chapters serving most areas of Arizona. You may choose to select the Chapter that best suits your individual needs.
The Northern Chapter serves cities and towns in Yavapai, Coconino, Apache, Navajo, and Mohave Counties including the cities of Prescott, Flagstaff, Sedona, Verde Valley, White Mountains, Colorado River, and Communities throughout Northern Arizona
The Central Chapter (formerly the Valley Board of Business Brokers) serves Phoenix Metro and surrounding areas.
The Southern Chapter (formerly The Arizona Association of Business Brokers) serves Tucson Metro and other southern Arizona cities.
