Individual Broker Membership
For individual professionals specializing in business brokerage.
Requirements:
Minimum of one year’s active specialization in business brokerage
Combination of six listings or sales in the past 12 months (e.g., 4 listings + 2 sales)
Sponsored by a current AZBBA member
Agree to post exclusive listings on the AZBBA website (unless prohibited by the seller)
Corporate Primary Membership
For corporations or brokerage firms primarily engaged in business sales and acquisitions.
Corporate Individual Membership
For licensed brokers or salespersons associated with an active Corporate Member.

Individual Affiliate Membership
For professionals not tied to a corporate affiliate including lenders, attorneys, accountants, and other service providers supporting business brokerage.
Corporate Affiliate Membership
For corporations or entities providing products or services to Arizona’s business brokerage community.
Membership Qualifications & Ethics Commitment
“As professionals, we must provide the most authoritative, efficient, and reputable service for all our clients.”
- Be sponsored by a member in good standing
- Have at least one year of active business brokerage experience
- Hold a valid Arizona Real Estate License (salesperson or broker)
- Demonstrate a history of ethical conduct
- Agree to post exclusive listings to the AZBBA website (unless restricted by the seller) Submit completed application, dues, and fees for review and vote at the next AZBBA meeting
- Membership approval is determined by a vote of current members. Applicants are notified upon acceptance; if declined, all prepaid fees are refunded.
Membership Dues & Renewal Policy
AZBBA operates as a nonprofit commercial brokers association, and membership dues directly support education, training, and advocacy for Arizona’s business brokers.
Annual dues are payable January 1st each year.
Quarterly payment options are available.
Members with unpaid dues after the quarter end will have listings temporarily removed from the AZBBA website until renewed.
The Board may approve payment plans in hardship cases to ensure continued access and participation.
